YU Televentures Yu Yureka S and Yunique S phones in India
YU has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market, the Yureka S and the Yunique Plus in India.
YU Yureka S smartphone is listed on the company’s website for Rs 12,999.It comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a pixel density of 423 ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone has a metal and polycarbonate chassis. Phone powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 GPU(choose downgraded) 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The smartphone comes equipped with Wolfson Pure Sound and Yamaha Amplifier for enhanced sound quality. Yu Yureka S features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is 5MP with 84 degree wide-angle lens and 3000 mah battery. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with company’s AROUND YU OS.

The Yunique S only improves upon its predecessor in only one thing i.e 2GB RAM instead of 1GB of RAM. The rest of the specifications are identical, including a 4.7-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 8GB storage with microSD support, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 2000mAh battery, and once again the outdated Android 5.1 OS.
The Yureka S is priced at INR 12,999 ($194) and the Yunique Plus at INR 6,999 ($104).
