Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) spotted on GeekBenchmark

The Samsung has already revealed all A-series phone, except for one member: the Galaxy A8. The Galaxy A8 (2016) still hasn't become official.

Last month a Galaxy A8 (2016) prototype getting listed in the GFXBench database, something which leaked most of its specs. And now it turns out that the handset has also been put through the paces of Geekbench earlier this month.


      
The Geekbench listing reveal as much as GFXBench's, but it still gives us three essential details about the phone. The A8 (2016) will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7420 chipset, The SoC will be aided in the new A8 by 3GB of RAM. The upcoming smartphone will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow when it finally launches.

According to GFXBench, it should also sport a 5.1-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 16 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie shooter, and 32GB of internal storage.
