Xiaomi Mi notebook renders and specs leak ahead of announcement
Ahead of Xiaomi’s media event on the 27th of this month, alleged specifications and renders of the company’s first ever notebook have surfaced online. A new report out of China is suggesting that the company is expecting total shipments of the laptop to cross the 1 million mark.
The most expensive variant of the Mi notebook will apparently be powered by the 6th Gen Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor and pack NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 970M mobile graphics with 4GB of memory. It will also include 16GB of DDR4 memory and 512GB of flash storage. The notebook’s 15.6” display will offer 4K resolution, which definitely sounds exciting. This configuration is expected to be priced at 6,699 Yuan in China, which converts to $1004.
The standard version is expected to feature an Intel Core i5-6200U processor, 8GB of DDR4 memory, and 256GB of flash storage. It will not come with a discrete graphics card, so you will need to make do with the integrated Intel HD “GT2”graphics. Thanks to the much less impressive spec-sheet, the base version will apparently be priced at 3,999 Yuan
