Multimedia and Sound
The default music player and Video player works fine and 4K video plays seamless without any lag and the out is loud and sound is clear and good .FM Radio also there but doesn't support RDS.
Performance
The Xiaomi Mi Max comes in several options Snapdragon 650, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The top model has an S652 chipset and an extra gig of RAM.
Snapdragon 650 has become a very popular choice in the midrange. While it's built on the old 28nm process, the two Cortex-A72 cores offer a lot of speed and the Adreno 510 GPU is fairly capable.
The difference between the 650 and 652 is the core count - the former has six cores, while the latter has eight adding two extra A72 cores. If budget allows it, the two extra cores are nice to have, but as we're about to see, the base Mi Max is pretty fast to start with (and the GPUs are the same anyway).
